Dhruv Cotton Processing Pvt. Ltd. (DCPPL) commenced its business in the year 2007 – 08, a cotton ginning unit with manufacturing capacity of 400 bales per day. The mill ventured into Cotton Seed Oil unit in the year 2008 – 09 for processing the co-product. In the year 2013 – 14, the mail initiated forward integration by setting up a state-of-the-art spinning Unit with 18240 spindles.
The mill is located in Jasdan, a town in the Rajkot district, which is a part of the Saurashtra region in Gujarat. Saurashtra Region is world renowned for its Shankar 6 cotton and is also the largest cotton area in India.
DCPPL has carved a niche for itself in the yarn market by serving their esteemed clientele with thrust on quality and ethical practices within a short span of 18 months. In future DCPPL intends to establish key presence in all the verticals of the textile value chain from farm to fashion and aims to be acknowledged as a force to reckon in the Saurashtra region. The mill’s total spindleage capacity will be increased to 27360 spindles after the ongoing expansion. Over its 8 years of chequered growth, the mill has expanded from Ginning Unit to Spinning Unit. DCPPL is an evolving mill and believes that to sustain with the changing market, it is vital to be proactive and to constantly innovate.
